Google Maps Saves Your Parking Spot with New Auto-Park Feature

Google Maps has rolled out a new feature to help users remember where they've parked their vehicles. The app will automatically save a parking spot for up to 48 hours, as long as the user's device is connected to their car via USB, Bluetooth, or CarPlay.

This feature is exclusive to iPhone and iPad users, and can be found in the Google Maps iOS app under Settings > Navigation.

Users can also manually mark their parking spot by tapping the blue dot indicating their current location and selecting 'Save parking.'

The saved parking spot will appear as a pin on the map with a 'P' label, and users can view it later to clear the pin or add notes. This feature is not only convenient but also helps prevent drivers from getting lost looking for their parked cars.
