Google Photos Adds Vintage-Style Effects with Moods

Google Photos is expanding its photo-editing features with Moods, a collection of vintage-inspired effects that users can apply to their modern photos. The feature has started rolling out globally on Android and allows users to pick from various styles, including those inspired by 35mm film and 2000s digicams.

To use Moods, users simply need to open the Google Photos app, tap 'Create' at the bottom of the screen, and select 'Moods.' They can then browse through the different templates, preview their options, and save their edited photos in their library.

Google has also highlighted some of its other recent additions to Google Photos, including Gemini Spark, which can now work with a photo library to find photos, create albums, edit images, organize memories, and more. This feature is available to Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers in the US.
