Google is enhancing its Workspace Studio tool with four new features aimed at making automation easier for businesses. The capabilities include custom starters, custom steps, third-party integrations, and webhooks.

Custom starters allow teams to trigger automations from outside applications, while custom steps let users build and run their own logic using Apps Script. Webhooks send HTTP requests to external endpoints to trigger actions there.

The third-party integrations are currently in beta and cover Asana, Confluence, Hubspot, Jira, Mailchimp, Quickbooks, Salesforce, and Slack, allowing data to move between Workspace and those tools.

The new features will be available on September 21 for Rapid Release domains and starting September 30 for Scheduled Release domains. However, the pricing for these capabilities has not been disclosed by Google.
