Google's AI Overviews Invade Team Rosters in Search Results

Google's AI technology has been integrated into its search results, with some users noticing that team rosters for certain sports teams are now being displayed as AI-generated content. This was first spotted by Glenn Gabe, who posted on X about the issue.

Gabe searched for the Raiders roster during a game and was surprised to see an AI Overview show up listing the entire team. The desktop version of this result is quite lengthy, with the mobile version being even longer.

It's worth noting that not all teams are affected by this change. Gabe mentioned that some teams, such as the New York Giants or Green Bay Packers, do not have AI Overviews showing up in search results for him.
