Henry Cavill Taps into Googlebook's Power in New Marketing Campaign
Google has kicked off its marketing campaign for Googlebooks with actor and tech enthusiast Henry Cavill. The company partnered with Cavill to 'help showcase the potential of this next-generation laptop,' which is set to launch next month.
Cavill, a big PC gamer who uses an Android phone, was chosen for his familiarity with Google's ecosystem. In fact, he previously used Pixel phones, and most recently was spotted with a Galaxy S25 Ultra. However, he seems to be warming up to the idea of using a Googlebook.
According to Cavill, 'I asked for the opportunity to have a play with it ahead of release. After being hands on and spending some time with their team, I believe this has the potential to be the start of something rather special.'
The marketing push will feature updates from Cavill as he uses a Googlebook to build a video game, starting in November. The campaign will also have its own dedicated page: googlebook.google/henry-cavill.
