Honeywell Aerospace Hit with Securities Class Action Lawsuit Over Supplier Constraints and Cybersecurity Compliance
A securities class action lawsuit has been filed against Honeywell Aerospace (NASDAQ: HONA) alleging that the company misled investors about supplier constraints, their impact on sales and profitability, and an investigation involving cybersecurity compliance for government contracts.
The complaint alleges that Honeywell Aerospace's executives violated federal securities laws by making false and/or misleading statements or failing to disclose material information. The lawsuit covers a period between June 29, 2026, and September 1, 2026, during which investors suffered losses due to the company's announcements about supplier constraints and cybersecurity compliance.
The suit claims that Honeywell Aerospace announced second quarter 2026 earnings with a 70% year-over-year decline in net income and a 32% year-over-year decrease in adjusted earnings per share. The company also slashed its full-year 2026 guidance, including a reduction in expected year-over-year adjusted EBIT growth from 7%-10% to flat-to-3%. As a result, Honeywell Aerospace's share price fell $47.17 or 23.16%, to close at $156.47 on August 6, 2026.
