Hurly-Burly Brings High-Energy Entertainment to Disney's BoardWalk

A new restaurant is opening at Disney World next week on October 1st. The lounge experience, called Hurly-Burly, will be themed around 'the golden era of seaside leisure', offering family entertainment by day and live music by night.

The space will feature specialty cocktails, small plates, and live entertainment, transporting visitors back to the 1920s. Hurly-Burly's name is derived from a term meaning a loud state of commotion and uproar, suggesting that the location will be high-energy and lively.

Hurly-Burly replaces the former dueling piano bar Jelly Rolls on Disney's BoardWalk, which was a beloved spot among fans before its closure. The new lounge aims to fill the void left by Jelly Rolls, offering a fun and entertaining space for visitors to enjoy after a long day in the parks.

The opening of Hurly-Burly is part of a larger effort by Disney to revamp and expand its offerings at Disney World. Several new lands are set to open in the coming years, including Piston Peak in Magic Kingdom, Monstropolis in Hollywood Studios, and Tropical Americas in Animal Kingdom.
