Indian-Origin Executives Lead Charge Across Major US Industries

Indian-origin entrepreneurs have made significant strides in leading major US companies across various industries. One of the most notable examples is Satya Nadella, who has been at the helm of Microsoft since 2014 as chairman and CEO. Under his leadership, the company has placed a major focus on cloud computing and artificial intelligence, with Nadella playing an important role in expanding Microsoft Azure.

Another prominent example is Sundar Pichai, who became Google's CEO in 2015 and later took charge of Alphabet in 2019. His tenure has included significant investments in artificial intelligence, cloud computing, Android, and other technology products, making him one of the most recognized Indian-origin leaders in the global tech industry.

Anil Chakravarthy is set to become Adobe's next president and CEO on December 1, 2026, succeeding Shantanu Narayen who has led the company for nearly two decades. Chakravarthy studied computer science at IIT Varanasi before completing advanced degrees at MIT.

They include Raj Subramaniam at FedEx, Vimal Kapur at Honeywell, Revathi Advaithi at Flex, and Jayshree Ullal at Arista Networks.
