Indians Flock to Dubai for Cheaper iPhones

Indian buyers of Apple's new iPhone models are traveling to Dubai to purchase their devices due to the significant price difference between the UAE and India. The iPhone 18 Pro starts at Dh5,099 in the UAE, which translates to approximately Rs 1.33 lakh based on the exchange rate.

The same model costs Rs 1,64,900 in India, making it attractive for buyers to travel to Dubai to take advantage of the savings. The iPhone 18 Pro Max also sees a price difference, starting at Dh5,499 in the UAE and Rs 1,79,900 in India.

Buyers who have made the trip to Dubai say that even after accounting for travel expenses, the phone's cheaper price remains significant. The new iPhone models went on sale at the Apple Store in Dubai Mall on September 18.
