JNJ's TECVAYLI Plus DARZALEX FASPRO Shows Durable Disease Control in Multiple Myeloma
Johnson & Johnson's (JNJ) new Phase 3 data for TECVAYLI plus DARZALEX FASPRO in relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma shows durable disease control with impressive progression-free and overall survival outcomes. According to the MajesTEC-3 study, patients treated with this combination may reach survival patterns similar to those of the general population.
The data model suggests an 86.6% projected cure fraction for overall survival, significantly higher than the 0% seen in the DPd/DVd control arm. This long-duration disease control can support longer treatment courses and broader use if physicians adopt it.
Johnson & Johnson's (JNJ) investment in its pharmaceuticals segment is starting to pay off with this breakthrough in multiple myeloma treatment. The data reinforces the idea that next-generation therapies can help fill gaps left by older products such as STELARA.
