JPMorgan Chase Stocks Drop Over 3% Amid Dividend Hike and Technical Pressure
JPMorgan Chase shares experienced a significant decline of over 3% on Tuesday after the bank announced a 10% increase in its quarterly dividend to $1.65 per share, effective with the September 15 declaration.
The announcement was made following strong half-year results, with JPMorgan reporting $37.1 billion in net income applicable to common equity for the first six months of 2026.
However, despite the robust financial performance, the stock continued to trade below its key short-term moving averages, with near-term support at $337.4 and an expected five-session range of $335.97 to $345.53.
