Massy Group Sells Caterpillar Dealership to MACORP

Massy Group has announced that it is selling its Caterpillar dealership to Machinery Corporation Motors Ltd (MACORP), a subsidiary of Machinery Corporation of America, Inc.

The decision was made after careful strategic consideration, with Massy stating that the Caterpillar business has been part of the company for nearly a century and now needs to grow in new markets.

MACORP is a dedicated Caterpillar dealer backed by a wider specialist group with deep experience across the region, and Massy believes they are well-positioned to build on what their teams have developed in Trinidad and Tobago.

The sale may affect around 200 employees of Massy Cat, who will receive support from the company, including the Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) and resources to help them navigate this period and prepare for new opportunities.
