McDonald's has announced that it will be bringing back its iconic Snack Wrap menu item after a decade-long absence. The fast-food chain first launched the Snack Wrap in 2006 as part of its Saver Menu, featuring a tortilla wrap filled with a Chicken Select, lettuce, cheese, and cool mayo.

However, the original Snack Wrap was discontinued in 2016. When it returns on October 6, it will have undergone some changes - it will no longer contain cheese and will be topped with black pepper mayo instead.

The new Snack Wrap will be priced at £1.99 and will be part of the Saver Menu. It will also be available as a main or bonus side in McDonald's Meal Deal Plus promotion, which includes a main, medium fries, a bonus side, and a medium drink for £5.95.
