Microsoft Cuts Copilot Prices by Up to 50% for Large Corporate Customers

Microsoft is offering deep discounts to large corporate customers for its Copilot tool. The company plans to provide discounts of between 30% and 50% on Copilot subscriptions, according to a report from The Information.

The discounts could begin as soon as October and will target customers committing to large seat purchases and additional usage-based payments. Microsoft is also preparing to launch a revamped Copilot 'super app', potentially as early as this week, which will combine AI coding tools and agent features.

Copilot starts at $30 per user per month, but the discounts could bring the cost down significantly for large customers. For example, customers with more than 1,000 seats may be eligible for a 30% discount, while those buying more than 10,000 seats could get up to 50% off.

Microsoft had previously offered some discounts to customers buying at least 2,000 seats, but the new discounts are significantly deeper. The company is also expanding its Copilot offering beyond chat, with CEO Satya Nadella saying that it is evolving from a chat assistant into autonomous AI agents.
