Microsoft Rolls Out AI Max Globally Across All Advertiser Accounts
Microsoft Advertising has rolled out AI Max to all advertiser accounts worldwide, marking the end of a two-month pilot period that began on June 17. The feature bundles query expansion, machine-written ad copy, and automated landing page selection under a single Search campaign toggle.
The announcement was made through a LinkedIn post by Navah Hopkins, Microsoft Ads Liaison. AI Max uses existing assets and website content to produce and test additional messaging variations, then picks combinations at auction time. This feature is expected to extend into AI-native experiences.
AI Max also includes final URL expansion, which overrides the landing page to route visitors to the best-matching page on an advertiser's site. This setting has a downstream footprint as it touches tracking infrastructure rather than only auction behavior.
