Microsoft to Reveal Future of Windows and Surface in October
Microsoft is gearing up to host its first major Windows event in over two years. The company has announced that it will be holding an event on October 7th at San Francisco's venue, where it plans to outline the future of Windows and Surface devices.
The 'conversation on how local AI will shape the next chapter of the PC' is expected to feature Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella and Windows and Surface chief Pavan Davuluri. Additionally, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang will be in attendance, which could indicate a focus on RTX Spark PCs.
Microsoft last held a major Windows event in May 2024 to unveil new Arm-based Copilot Plus PCs and its renewed partnership with Qualcomm. This upcoming event is highly anticipated, especially given the lack of significant updates to Windows since then.
