Microsoft is gearing up to release a limited-edition Storm King controller as part of the Gears of War marketing campaign. The device will be available for Xbox consoles and PC, and its design features a textured pattern resembling cracked black and red volcanic rock.

The gamepad's exterior has a dark, detailed appearance with a stark black finish on the left thumbstick and A, B, and Y buttons. The central control unit is painted a rich red and framed by the franchise's signature gear logo.

The Storm King controller will retail for $89.99 in the US, €89.99 in Europe, and £84.99 in the UK, matching the pricing of Microsoft's previous limited-edition accessories.
