Microsoft Unveils Upgraded Surface Pro Laptops with Enhanced Specs

Microsoft has unveiled its latest line of Surface Pro 2-in-1 laptops, boasting improved specs and features. The devices come in two sizes - a 12-inch (2nd Edition) and a 13-inch (12th Edition) variant.

The new models are powered by Qualcomm's X2 processors, with the 12-inch variant featuring a six-core Snapdragon X2 Plus processor and the 13-inch variants sporting either a ten-core or twelve-core processor. The Adreno X2-45 graphics processing unit is used across all models.

One of the standout features of these new Surface Pros is their display technology. Both devices feature PixelSense Touchscreen LCD displays, with the 12-inch model boasting 220 pixels per inch (ppi) and a 90Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling. The 13-inch variants offer up to 267 ppi and a 120Hz refresh rate.

The Surface Pros also come equipped with improved cameras, including a 10MP Ultra HD rear camera and either an 1080p Full HD or 1440p Quad HD front camera, depending on the model. Microsoft claims that these devices can deliver up to 15.5 hours of battery life on a single charge.
