Monsters, Inc. Flying Door Coaster Takes Shape at Disney's Hollywood Studios

A new aerial photo update shows the ongoing construction of the Monsters, Inc. flying door coaster at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

The ride building is rising, with roof decking now covering large sections of the structure and steel work still underway across the remaining open areas.

Multiple cranes remain active on-site, placing steel and moving materials as the structure moves closer to being fully enclosed.

The coaster will be Disney's first suspended coaster, featuring ride vehicles hanging beneath the track rather than sitting on top of it.
