Nike Revives Air Bakin OG Varsity Red for September Return

Nike has announced that the Air Bakin OG 'Varsity Red' will be returning in September 2026. This classic basketball shoe, designed by Eric Avar, originally released in the late 1990s and was famously worn by Tim Hardaway while he played for the Miami Heat. The 'Varsity Red' colorway features a black foundation with vibrant red accents and yellow laces, reminiscent of Miami.

The shoe's design is true to its original form, with an ample high-cut upper, exposed heel Air cushioning, pull tabs, and a chunky outsole. The outsole sports a red cutout with yellow Nike branding, adding to the throwback vibe. The Air Bakin OG 'Varsity Red' will retail for $170 USD.
