Nucleus Network, a leading early-phase clinical research organisation, has employed agentic AI to streamline participant recruitment for global clinical trials. With operations scaled across Australia, the US and the UK, traditional recruitment methods couldn't keep pace.

Pre-screening relied on recruiters being available during business hours, participant data was scattered across systems, and teams spent more time on admin than interacting with participants.

Nucleus Network's solution was a unified Salesforce platform, centred around Data Cloud and Agentforce automation. At its core is NORA, the Nucleus Online Recruitment Assistant, an AI-powered agent providing round-the-clock pre-screening and participant support on the Nucleus Network website.

'Clinical research runs on trust,' said Jeremy Collins, Chief Digital Officer at Nucleus Network. 'AI has to earn its place without getting in the way of that.'
