Nvidia Investors to Receive Hefty Dividend Payment Amid Increased Insider Trading Activity
Nvidia investors are set to receive a significantly increased dividend payment on October 1, marking the second time the company has paid out such a large amount. The annual yield was boosted by 2,400% ahead of the June payday, with shareholders now receiving $0.25 per share instead of the previous $0.01.
This means that assuming the next dividend in December remains level, investors will have received a total of $0.76 by the end of 2026. The ex-dividend date for October 1 was September 10, with Nvidia stock trading at around $223.67 on September 9.
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, the firm's largest individual shareholder, is set to receive $203 million from his roughly 811 million NVDA shares. Meanwhile, insider trading activity has increased in September, with senior personnel selling approximately $1.6 billion worth of stock. Director Mark Stevens was responsible for nearly all of this activity.
