Nvidia RTX GPUs Get Advanced Shader Delivery as Microsoft Expands Support
Microsoft has announced that its Advanced Shader Delivery technology will be available on all Nvidia RTX GPUs, as well as Intel ARC B-series discrete GPUs and integrated graphics for Intel Core Ultra Series 2 and 3 CPUs. This comes after the feature was initially exclusive to AMD Radeon GPUs.
The technology allows for precompiled shaders in the Xbox App, which can reduce shader compilation times by 95%. This means that gamers can get into their games faster and experience fewer instances of shader compilation stutter.
Gears of War: E-Day will be the first game to support Advanced Shader Delivery on Windows 11 devices with various GPUs. Support for Modern Warfare 4 and other future titles is still in the works.
