Nvidia Scores Big Win with Exclusive SpaceX Partnership
Nvidia's shares surged 3.5% in morning trading after SpaceX announced it would exclusively use Nvidia's hardware for its future artificial intelligence infrastructure, including the Starmind orbital compute program.
During SpaceX's first earnings call as a public company, CEO Elon Musk confirmed the partnership with Nvidia, stating that the Vera Rubin architecture is the best available hardware for complex AI workloads.
The deal not only secures Nvidia another major customer but also expands its market beyond traditional data centers into aerospace computing. JPMorgan noted that SpaceX alone will account for a 'very significant percentage' of Nvidia's total GPU shipments in 2027.
Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., Nvidia's primary manufacturing partner, reported a 54.2% increase in monthly sales, further signaling sustained demand across the supply chain.
