Nvidia Surpasses Entire Russell 2000 Index in Market Capitalization
Nvidia's market capitalization soared to $5.4 trillion on September 25, surpassing the combined value of the Russell 2000 index at $3.5 trillion.
According to a post by Charlie Bilello of Creative Planning, this disparity is staggering, with Nvidia's valuation nearly $2 trillion higher than all companies in the Russell 2000 combined.
Bilello attributed the significant earnings difference driving these numbers to Nvidia's profit of $193 billion over the last year, while the Russell 2000 members collectively lost $13 billion.
