Nvidia Surpasses SpaceX as Top AI Investment

Nvidia and SpaceX are two of the fastest-growing companies in the AI space, but which one is the better investment? Nvidia makes computing units known as graphics processing units (GPUs) that excel in various tasks and are the industry standard in AI computing. Nearly every company involved in AI deploys Nvidia GPUs.

SpaceX, on the other hand, has seen rapid growth in its AI division, with revenue increasing 213% to $2.56 billion during Q2. However, it's still a relatively small player compared to Nvidia, which had a Q2 revenue of $96 billion.

Nvidia's profit margin is also unmatched, at 62%, while SpaceX was unprofitable in Q2 but projects a 45% profit margin once mature. Given the significant size difference and similar profit margin goals, it can be inferred that Nvidia is still growing rapidly and has plenty of growth left, whereas SpaceX is overvalued.

Nvidia's market cap is $5.4 trillion, while SpaceX trades for around $2 trillion, indicating a potential issue in providing strong returns due to its high valuation.
