IBM (NYSE:IBM) recently reported its Q2 earnings, and the results were mixed. The company's revenues of $17.16 billion were up 1.1% year on year, but fell short of analysts' expectations by 1.5%. This was IBM's weakest performance among its peers in the IT services and consulting sector.

Meanwhile, Grid Dynamics (NASDAQ:GDYN) had a strong Q2, with revenues up 7% year on year and full-year revenue guidance that exceeded analysts' expectations.
Accenture (NYSE:ACN), another major player in the sector, reported revenues of $18.72 billion, which was in line with analysts' expectations. However, the company missed analyst estimates for next quarter's revenue guidance, making it a slower quarter overall.
