The Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) is in talks to form a $20 billion partnership with JPMorgan Chase & Co., according to sources. The proposed collaboration between QIA's sovereign wealth fund and JPMorgan Asset Management would cover public and private markets, including equities and credit.

The arrangement would consist of two main components: a $15 billion public equities mandate tied to QIA's long-term investment objectives, and a $5 billion private markets initiative focused on U.S. middle-market companies.

This reported partnership comes months after QIA finalized a similar agreement with Goldman Sachs Group Inc.
