RBC Capital Keeps Buy Rating on MSFT Despite Negative Insider Sentiment
RBC Capital analyst Rishi Jaluria has maintained his 'Buy' rating on Microsoft (MSFT) in a recent report. He also set a price target of $640.00 for the tech giant.
Jaluria's views are based on his analysis of Microsoft's quarterly earnings, which showed revenue of $90.01 billion and net profit of $35.77 billion for the quarter ending June 30. These figures represent significant growth from last year, when Microsoft earned $76.44 billion in revenue and had a net profit of $27.23 billion.
In addition to RBC Capital, another analyst, Brad Reback of Stifel Nicolaus, also has a 'Buy' rating on MSFT. However, Rothschild & Co Redburn assigned a 'Hold' rating to the stock in a report issued on September 21. It's worth noting that corporate insider sentiment is currently negative due to an increase in insiders selling their shares over the past quarter.
