Repeat Shoplifter Sentenced for Stolen Tools

A repeat shoplifter who stole nearly $1,000 worth of tools from a Kamloops Home Depot has been sentenced to 75 days in jail.

Justin Wade Worthington, 46, pleaded guilty to two counts of theft under $5,000 stemming from separate shoplifting incidents at Home Depot and Walmart.

The stolen merchandise was recovered after Worthington took off during his initial arrest on January 29. He also admitted stealing $672.59 worth of merchandise from Walmart on August 8, 2025.
