Salesforce Bolsters Partnership with Anthropic through Claudeforce Integration

Salesforce and Anthropic are deepening their partnership with the launch of Claudeforce, an integration that combines Salesforce's platform with Claude's AI capabilities. The partnership includes a plugin called Salesforce in Claude, which features 37 prebuilt sales skills that enable users to access Salesforce data and functions directly within Claude.

The plugin includes features such as meeting preparation, deal health review, and pipeline review, allowing administrators to connect Salesforce once and manage authentication and permissions centrally for team access. This integration also enables customers in regulated industries to deploy AI while maintaining data security.

Claude is now available in Agentforce as a reasoning model for the Atlas Reasoning Engine and can be accessed through Amazon Bedrock within the Salesforce Trust Boundary. The partnership extends to Slack, where Claude serves as the default model and powers Slackbot.

Salesforce stated that Slackbot has generated 8.1 million hours of annualized productivity gains internally, representing a two-fold increase quarter-over-quarter.
