Salesforce Pledges $18 Million to Bay Area Schools

Salesforce has announced a significant donation to schools in Oakland and San Francisco. The company will give $18 million to local education funds, bringing its total contributions to Bay Area schools over the past decade to $156 million.

The funds will be channeled through non-profit arms of the districts, with The Oakland Public Education Fund receiving the donation for the Oakland Unified School District. Middle school principals in Oakland will each receive $100,000 to use at their discretion to further student education.
