Salesforce Unveils AIforce and Koa: A New Era for CRM and AI Integration
Salesforce has launched AIforce, an ambitious push to integrate its CRM platform with a range of artificial intelligence tools. The move, unveiled at Dreamforce 2026 on September 16, includes the introduction of Koa, a domain-specific reasoning model built in partnership with NVIDIA.
Aiforce aims to plug Salesforce's CRM data and workflow engine into a wider web of AI tools used by its clients every day. This could support Salesforce's position as an infrastructure layer rather than just a login screen, but also raises execution risks due to potential reliability problems or security lapses across multiple touchpoints.
Koa is built on NVIDIA Nemotron with Salesforce controlling weights, which keeps customer data within its own infrastructure and speaks directly to compliance-conscious enterprises. Partners such as Outreach, June AI, Gainsight, and Bandwidth plug specialized agents and telecom reach into the same stack.
