Salesforce Unveils AIforce Interface Layer for Seamless Enterprise Integration
Salesforce unveiled AIforce, an interface layer that connects its agentic enterprise architecture to any AI interface. This move is part of the company's effort to combine model intelligence with Salesforce data context, creating a system that works seamlessly with core enterprise platforms.
The new interface layer, AIforce, builds on Salesforce's existing agentic investments and agent foundation, allowing enterprises to build custom user interfaces to surface desired insights in their productivity platform of choice. This means employees can access CRM tools wherever they work, without having to come to the Salesforce environment.
Salesforce CEO and Chair Marc Benioff described AIforce as an 'enterprise harness' during a previous earnings call, highlighting its potential to reduce wait times for customers and get them to value faster. However, experts caution that AIforce may introduce new costs and data challenges, requiring clean, connected, and governed data underneath.
Salesforce also announced expanded partnerships with Google Cloud and AWS at Dreamforce, enabling enterprises to surface business context in tools like Amazon QuickSight and adding AWS frontier agents to Slack. The company's next-generation infrastructure, Hyperforce, will run on Google Cloud, allowing customers to access Salesforce data directly within Gemini Enterprise.
