Shanghai Disney Resort Marks 10th Anniversary in Spectacular Fashion

The Shanghai Disney Resort marked its 10th anniversary on June 16, 2026. To celebrate this milestone, Disney created a special episode of their 'Disney Unscripted' series, which takes viewers behind the scenes of the resort's preparations for the anniversary celebration.

In this episode, we meet the cast members, chefs, costume specialists, designers, musicians, and storytellers who brought the 10th-anniversary event to life. We see how they hand-sew anniversary costumes, perfect new menu offerings inside the Royal Banquet Hall kitchen, and design exclusive 10th Anniversary merchandise.

The team also takes us inside the recording studio with Disney Live Entertainment where the new anniversary anthem was composed and recorded. The culmination of months of planning is showcased during the grand anniversary spectacular, where Josh D’amaro, Bob Iger, and cast members come together to celebrate a decade of magic.
