Shanghai Disney's Spider-Man Coaster Enters New Phase of Construction

The Shanghai Disney Resort has reached a new milestone in the construction of its Spider-Man themed coaster. Push-pull testing, a common procedure for roller coasters worldwide, has begun.

This test involves slowly moving a coaster vehicle through the attraction at just one centimeter per second to ensure that no surrounding items are within guest reach.

A video shared by Walt Disney Imagineering showcases the push-pull test in-depth, giving a glimpse into the construction process.

The ride vehicle appears similar to those of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT and will be part of the Worldwide Engineering Brigade (WEB) featured in the Spider-Man attractions in Avengers Campus.
