Sherwin-Williams Paints Up UWI Global Campus in Saint Lucia

The University of the West Indies (UWI) Global Campus in Saint Lucia has received a boost from Sherwin-Williams, a leading paint manufacturer. The company donated paint to refresh and brighten up the campus's study and administrative spaces.

The partnership between Sherwin-Williams and the UWI Student Guild Executive aims to improve the learning environment for students and foster a sense of community on campus. According to Shem Hippolyte, President of the Student Guild Executive, 'the project aims to improve the spaces where students learn and build a stronger sense of pride and community.'

Diana Williams, the Guild's advisor, added that the initiative demonstrates the value of empowering student leaders to identify practical solutions and establish relationships with businesses. She said, 'Empowering student leaders to identify solutions and partner with corporate Saint Lucia is at the core of holistic development.'
