Snap Inc., the parent company of Snapchat, is making another push into the augmented reality (AR) market with its Specs glasses. In a bid to appeal to enterprise clients, Snap has partnered with companies like Salesforce, Nvidia, and Amazon Web Services to integrate various tools into its AR device.

Specs, which was unveiled in June for a hefty price tag of $2,195, is being positioned as a workplace device that can provide hands-free computing solutions in environments such as factory floors, retail outlets, and field service operations. Salesforce will be adding its AI agent platform Agentforce to Specs, allowing workers to access company data and automate tasks through the glasses.

Nvidia will power the AI capabilities of Specs, enabling it to interpret a worker's visual environment and retrieve relevant company data. Meanwhile, Amazon Web Services (AWS) will provide its AI assistant, which can be used with voice commands for tasks such as checking product availability.
