Stifel Lifts Microsoft Price Target to $530
Stifel has raised its price target for Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) to $530 from $450, an increase of nearly 18%, after a series of meetings with the company's senior financial leadership. The move reflects growing confidence in Azure's expansion and the accelerating adoption of Microsoft 365 Copilot.
Analyst Brad Reback noted that enterprises are transitioning from limited trial programs to comprehensive enterprise-wide implementations of M365 Copilot, a shift he described as a substantial evolution driving the optimistic tone in his updated analysis.
Reback's primary reservations center on intensifying competition, with Google continuing to capture market share and the strategic alliance with OpenAI no longer offering the same competitive edge it once did.
