Stocks Traded at 52-Week Lows Reveal Hidden Growth
A recent list of stocks at their 52-week lows has sparked questions about whether these companies are experiencing temporary damage or have fundamentally changed.
The list, compiled by Trefis, includes household names such as McDonald's (MCD) and Lowe's Companies (LOW), both of which continue to grow revenue despite trading at significant discounts.
McDonald's trades at 20.1 times trailing earnings and has seen a 6.3% increase in revenue over the past year, while Lowe's Companies trades at 16.3 times trailing earnings with an 8.2% increase in revenue.
However, not all companies on the list are as resilient. Many have seen significant declines in revenue and free cash flow yield, raising concerns about their underlying health.
