Take-Two Interactive has filed a subpoena in the Southern District Court of New York to gather information from Microsoft and Discord related to the recent GTA 6 leaks. The hacker group CyberLeek, which is behind the leaks, has been posting gameplay footage of an older build of GTA 6 and threatening Rockstar with more leaks if their demands are not met.

The subpoena seeks identifying information for user accounts associated with the Discord server linked to CyberLeek, as well as device/telemetry records and content related to Grand Theft Auto. Microsoft and Discord have until September 4 to produce the requested information.

Take-Two hopes that this will lead to the identification of the culprits behind the leaks and allow for strict action to be taken against them. The leaks have been lucrative for CyberLeek, as they have used them to promote a cryptocurrency through the leaked videos.
