Tap to Pay iPhone Expands into Eight More Latin American Countries

Apple has expanded its Tap to Pay on iPhone feature to eight more countries in Latin America. The service allows businesses to accept contactless payments through iOS apps, using NFC technology.

The new countries where Tap to Pay is now available are Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Honduras, Panama, and Peru. This feature works with collection platforms, app developers, and payment networks to provide a seamless and secure payment experience for customers.

Mercado Pago in Argentina, SumUp and Symbiotic in Colombia, Geopagos and Symbiotic in Costa Rica and Guatemala, Geopagos and Symbiotic in Honduras, Geopagos and Symbiotic in Panama, Azul and Visa Acceptance Solutions in the Dominican Republic, and SumUp in Peru are among the payment platforms that now support Tap to Pay on iPhone.
