TBAL Rolls Out 400th Made-in-India Apache Fuselage
Tata Boeing Aerospace Limited (TBAL) has reached a significant milestone in its production of AH-64E Apache fuselages. The company, a joint venture between Boeing and Tata Advanced Systems Limited (TASL), has successfully rolled out the 400th 'Made in India' fuselage from its facility in Hyderabad.
The achievement highlights India's growing role in global defense manufacturing and its integration into international supply chains. TBAL employs over 750 engineers and technicians, who utilize advanced robotics and aerospace manufacturing technologies to produce fuselages for the Apache helicopter.
The AH-64E Apache is a world-renowned attack helicopter, with approximately 1,300 aircraft currently in operation across 19 countries. The Indian Air Force operates a fleet of 22 Apaches, while six more were delivered to the Indian Army in 2025.
