Ternus Brings 'Apple DNA' as Analysts Expect Multi-Year Growth Cycle
Apple's new CEO, John Ternus, has been welcomed as the right leader to carry the company into its next era of growth. Angelo Zino, senior vice president at CFRA Research, sees Ternus as someone who has spent more than two decades inside Apple, working under both Steve Jobs and Tim Cook.
Zino describes Ternus as having 'the Apple DNA,' which he believes will help lead the company through its next phase of growth. The iPhone 18 Pro has already been launched, and Apple has unveiled the foldable iPhone Duo, signaling a new direction for its flagship product line under Ternus's leadership.
Zino points to the iPhone 17 cycle as the starting point for what he expects to be a multi-year strong upgrade cycle on the smartphone side of Apple's business. He also highlights that Apple's product pipeline through 2027 and 2028 holds significant promise across various hardware categories, including wearables, AirPods, and smart glasses.
