Thousands Struck by Widespread Outlook Email Service Outage
Microsoft's Outlook email service has been hit by a widespread outage that has left thousands of users unable to access their emails. The issue was reported on Downdetector, a website that tracks outages and issues with popular services, at around 9:27 am PDT.
According to the site's live-tally, more than 6,000 users have reported problems accessing Outlook. Those affected have reported difficulties opening, searching, and sending emails through the service.
Microsoft has yet to provide any updates on the scope or resolution of the outage. Users can track the live tally of reported issues on Downdetector.
