Financial disclosures have revealed that President Donald Trump made tens of millions from selling Amazon and Microsoft stock in July. The president purchased at least $43.6 million worth of shares and sold at least $35.6 million, with sales totaling between $5 million and $25 million for each company on the same day.

The largest transactions were in Microsoft and Amazon shares, but Trump also bought or sold shares in Northrop Grumman, an aerospace and defense company. The filing revealed that he sold between $250,001 and $500,000 of Northrop Grumman stock on the same day he signed an executive order tightening supply chain requirements for defense contractors.

This is not Trump's only significant financial move; in 2025, his financial disclosure showed he made over $2 billion during his first year back in office. This includes profits from cryptocurrency, foreign real estate, and stock trading, among other sources of income.
