The economic cooperation between Turkmenistan and the United States has reached significant levels, according to Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty. The value of projects involving American companies in Turkmenistan is approaching $45 billion.

This total includes hundreds of economic projects that have been implemented over many years, with more currently in development. These projects span various sectors, including fuel and energy, transportation, electric power, software, agriculture, and the food industry.

The major American companies operating in Turkmenistan include John Deere, General Electric, Case, Boeing, Coca-Cola, Sikorsky, and Caterpillar. The Turkmen-American Business Council, established in 2008, has played a significant role in fostering this cooperation, with its recommendations being followed by government agencies.
