UBS Cuts Dow Price Target Amid Commodity Chemicals Margin Pressure
Dow Inc.'s stock fell by 1.87% to $28.02 on September 25, 2026, on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) following a price target cut by UBS.
The bank reduced its 12-month price target from $32.00 to $30.00 while maintaining its Neutral rating. This move was attributed to continuing margin pressure in global commodity chemicals.
UBS cited slower industrial demand, customer destocking, and elevated raw material costs as factors limiting Dow's ability to pass higher input costs through to customers, particularly for polyethylene and other commodity products.
