ULTRALOQ Unveils Next-Gen Smart Locks for Hands-Free Entry

Smart lock maker ULTRALOQ has unveiled its next-generation lock collection, set to hit The Home Depot's online shelves in October. The Bolt Mission smart lock stands out for its ability to distinguish between authorized users approaching from outside and normal movement within the home.

This is achieved through a combination of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) discovery, UWB ranging, radar-based presence sensing, and local decision logic. As a result, the user can enjoy hands-free entry without needing an app or separate hub.

The Bolt Mission lock also boasts intent detection logic that analyzes precise distance and direction of approach for accurate unlocking.

In addition to the Bolt Mission, ULTRALOQ has introduced two other locks: the Bolt Pro digital-key deadbolt and the Latch 5 Pro, designed for doors with levers rather than deadbolts. Both devices offer wallet-based access, fingerprint entry, and PIN codes for added security.

The Bolt Pro pairs tap-to-unlock access with fingerprint and app control options, while the Latch 5 Pro brings a similar experience to more doors within a property.
