United Launches Nonstop Flights From EWR to Seoul
United Airlines will launch its fourth-longest nonstop flight from Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) to Seoul's Incheon International Airport (ICN) on September 4, 2026. The daily flight will operate year-round using a Boeing 787-9 aircraft with 257 seats.
The new route will be the airline's third nonstop service to East Asia from EWR, joining existing flights to Tokyo Narita and Haneda airports. In the past, United flew nonstop from EWR to Beijing Capital, Hong Kong, and Shanghai Pudong until 2020, but those routes have since been discontinued.
The average base fare for a one-way ticket on this route is estimated to be around $650, which is significantly lower than the average base fare of $1,145 for nonstop flights from JFK to ICN. This could potentially make United's service more competitive in the market.
